Guest Chef
John Kinsella CMC, CCE, AAC
John Kinsella has more letters behind his name than Vanna
White. A Certified Master Chef (CMC), Certified

the American Academy of Chefs (AAC), Chef
John has just as many spoons in the pot.
He has been a chef instructor at the ACFEI accredited Cincinnati State Technical
and Community School since 1983 and the author
of two cookbooks including "Professional
Charcuterie". He hosts the television program "The Morning Show" on the local Cincinnati Fox Network where
he features food trends, cooking techniques

for the "Best National Radio Show on
Food" . Chef Kinsella has regular weekly
segments on the program. The radio program
was recognized as one of the top three radio
shows in the United States.
| "I demand excellence. I demand from
my students a hundred percent for all the
time they're with me. Just let the knife
rock on the board, you see. See my fingers?
There goes a finger." |
John has cooked for everyone from the Queen
of England, to the movers and shakers in
Cincinnati, and everyone in between. He has
done just about all their is to do in the
cooking field. He has taught cooking, been
an executive chef at a five star restaurant,
been a partner in a catering company, served
an apprenticeship under Chef Le Bec, (who
himself was an apprentice under Escoffier)
and been executive chef at two private clubs.
On top of all of this, Master John Kinsella
maintains a lively, spirited attitude.
| "One student said to me one time--came back
and he said, chef, I hated your
guts when
you were here, but thank you.
And that meant
a lot to me. That means a lot
more to me
than anything else." |
