Culinary Olympics in Erfurt

The IKA (International Culinary Art Exhibition), well-known as "Culinary Olympics", will be held in connection with the "inoga", fair for trade and  hospitality from 22 - 25 October 2000 in Erfurt.

As the VKD informed today, the conversation with the fair Erfurt AG has led to a successful end.  The new place for the Culinary Olympics is Erfurt, capital of Thuringia. The IKA will be held together with the "inoga" fair for trade and hospitality from 22 - 25 October 2000 in Erfurt.

With this decision the  site look-up finds its settlement, which by refusal  of the trade fair AroomA through the fair Berlin in December 1999 and the  associated IKA 2000 its beginning took.

In the last weeks the board of the German Chefs Association have had intensive negotiations around a new site with different partners, under it  the trade fair Munich. The preconditions - from the viewpoint of the fair - provided in Erfurt  have led the German Chefs Association to the decision to benefit the site Erfurt.
